Name and Address Change Information

Q. How do I update my address and phone numbers?

The Registrar’s Office maintains addresses for currently enrolled students. It is the responsibility of the student to update all applicable addresses and phone numbers. Mailing addresses and a variety of phone numbers including the Emergency Alert number may be updated by using the PULSE system.

Permanent addresses can be updated in the Registrar’s Office.

Alumni may update their records with the alumni association. You may reach the Alumni Office at 706-721-4001

 

Q. What information do I need to have my name changed?

Acceptable documents for a name change include a certified copy of a marriage license, court order of dissolution decree reflecting the new name in full.  For our international students we can accept current passport or official proof if identity certified by U.S. Embassy abroad or by the appropriate foreign embassy in the US. In addition, a name change form must be completed.
