

The purpose of the Electrophysiology Fellowship Program at the Medical College of Georgia is to train an individual in all the fundamental skills necessary to be an excellent Clinical Electrophysiology Cardiologist. In addition, it is the aim of our program that the individual obtain specific focused clinical skills. The one-year program will prepare the individual for Board Certification in the Sub-specialty of Electrophysiology. Three years of fellowship training in general Cardiology is a prerequisite for the program.
At present, ONE fellow will be accepted in the EP fellowship program. He/She will serve as a consultant and work as a member of the Electrophysiology Unit team. The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) Hospital and CV Clinic on Chafee Ave. will be the Fellows primary location. MCG is a 630-bed center that encompasses both Adult and the stand-alone Children's Medical Center. Patients are referred from throughout Georgia and also the Southeast for cardiovascular problems, which are both straightforward and complex.
