Andrew R. H. Newton
General Counsel

Mr. Newton oversees an office that advises the president on legal matters and oversees all legal-related issues regarding the university. He is a member of the National Association of College and University Attorneys, the American Health Lawyers Association and the Georgia Academy of Healthcare Attorneys.

He earned a juris doctorate from the University of South Carolina and is licensed in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
