Shelley Mishoe
Dean, School of Allied Health Sciences

Dr. Shelley C. Mishoe became dean of the School of Allied Health Sciences in 2001, leading the most diverse group of faculty and programs at MCG. Prior positions include interim dean, associate dean, and chair of the department of respiratory therapy. Dr. Mishoe oversees nine departments providing a variety of undergraduate and graduate degree offerings across 12 disciplines on three campuses, as well as for on-line learners.

Dr. Mishoe began her career at SUNY Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse. She earned a master’s degree from Augusta State University and the doctorate from the University of Georgia in education and health services administration. She is a fellow of the American Association for Respiratory Care and a member of the editorial board for Respiratory Care
