Beth Brigdon
Associate Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration/CIO and
Associate Provost

As the Associate Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration, using her background in IT, Beth Brigdon serves as a liaison between units reporting to the Senior Vice President for Finance and Administration and those who require services from the unit focusing on performance and process improvement, and specifically addressing issues that lie outside the functional authority of any one unit but require coordination among each.

As Associate Provost, Ms. Bridgon serves as the chief advisor to the Provost in matters relating to academic and research technology support.

She is also the Chief Information Officer for the university and is responsible for strategically advancing the institution's mission by providing leadership and vision for planning, management, integration and implementation of integrated information systems and technologies across the institution. She is responsible for providing a core set of services for the university through the management of the Division of Information Technology Support and Services which includes Application Systems, Client Services, Instructional Support & Design, Infrastructure Services, Planning & Strategic Initiatives, and Security Administration.

Bridgon held previous positions with Georgia Southern University, Augusta State University and the Board of Regents with the University System of Georgia. She holds a B.S. from the University of Georgia and a MBA from Augusta State University
