Preventing Discrimination: This training provides basic knowledge of affirmative action and equal employment policies that each employee should know and follow.  This training session will provide employees with knowledge of their protected rights, how to avoid harassing behavior, and when and how to report any discriminatory acts.

Sexual Harassment Prevention: This workshop focuses on the changing roles of men and women in the workplace and how sexual harassment can result when attitude fail to adjust to today's new work environments.  The workshop defines sexual harassment based on EEOC guidelines, identifies the different types of sexual harassment, and addresses what action should be taken if you are sexually harassed.  MCG's policy on sexual harassment will also be reviewed.

On-Line Training

Faculty Search Guidelines: Assists faculty search committees in the affirmative action responsibilities in recruitment when they are reviewing applicants for an approved faculty position.  All individuals serving on a faculty search committee must have this training. The Faculty Search presentation is set up by the AA/EEO Office and is viewed through MCStrategies.  Please contact our office to be enrolled in this course.

Non-Discrimination (pdf file): This on-line training gives employees a brief overview of MCG's commitment to affirmative action and equal employment opportunity.  It focuses on how employees should maintain a workplace free of discrimination and sexually harassing behaviors.
